Drug Uses
Propecia is used to for the treatment of pattern hair loss on the anterior mid scalp area and on the vertex in men. Propecia is for men only, it is forbidden for children and women.

How to use
Take Propecia with a cup of water. If you experience take it with meal. Use Propecia exactly as your doctor prescribed. For the maximum effect, take Propecia at the same time. Don’t use Propecia in larger amount or for a longer than recommended. Propecia provides the result after 3 month of regular usage.

Drug class and mechanism
Propecia stops the process of conversion of testosterone into the dihydro-testosterone, which is involved in hair loss action. Propecia also treats the benign prostatic hyperplasia in men.

Missed dose
Take the missed dose of Propecia as soon as you remember. Make some notes about missed dose and inform your doctor. Don’t take double dose to make up the missed dose.

Storage
Store Propecia in a dry and dark place (temperature 15-30 C, or 59-86 F); away from children.

Warnings/Precautions
You should inform your doctor if you have any of the following problems.
- liver disease,
- prostate cancer,
- bladder muscle disorder,
- or if you are unable to urinate.
Also you need to provide the information if you have allergic reactions to any medicine, or foodstuff.

Possible Side Effects
Propecia may cause the following side effects:
- abnormal ejacuation,
- pain in the testicles,
- feet, or hands swelling,
- dizziness, weakness,
- skin rash,
- headache,
- runny nose,
- low sex drive.

More Information
Woman, (especially pregnant woman) and children should not touch the Propecia tablets; it can be absorbed by skin. If woman or children accidentally comes into contact with Propecia tablets, wash the hands (or area of contact) with soap and water immediately.
